Based in France, the Pouliquen Group is nevertheless present throughout Europe.
Our company is the leader in the traditional shallot market in France, Germany and Italy. Pouliquen also markets many other fresh vegetables, such as cabbages, artichokes, tomatoes, and heirloom vegetables.

For many years now Pouliquen has had a presence well beyond the borders of Europe. The United States, Singapore, Reunion Island… Part of our team is dedicated to supporting our customers in these markets.

Based on the north coast of Brittany, the Pouliquen Group, partner of Prince de Bretagne, works in close collaboration with hundreds of producers.

This closeness allows the company to build trusting relationships with local market gardeners and to offer you products of exceptional quality in terms of both freshness and flavour.
This also ensures full product traceability.

The north of Brittany is an ideal place to grow artichokes, cauliflowers, cabbages and allium varieties.

Packing

The Pouliquen Group has for years been a European leader in the packing and marketing of traditional shallots.

In 2020 our teams packed more than 10,000 tonnes of shallots.

All vegetable waste generated by the shallot business is recycled and used in local biogas processes.

Organic Vegetables

For several years now, in partnership with the Prince de Bretagne producers, the Pouliquen Group has also been distributing a range of Ecocert certified organic vegetables.

A specific production line for this organic product range is being set up to comply with the regulations in force. Since summer 2022, we have been packaging shallots and onions from certified organic farms ourselves.
